Memories of a breathtaking concert event with Leonard Cohen in Vaduz. Thomy Elber, tour manager Klaus Bönisch, Leonard Cohen and Antoine.
In his book «ROCK 'N' ROLL IM FÜRSTENTUM», the native Frenchman, who has lived in Liechtenstein since the age of three, explains how the idea of revitalizing Liechtenstein's concert culture and bringing world-famous bands and performers to Vaduz, Dornbirn and Lustenau came about. Antoine Lemaire describes how he and his friend negotiated with global stars and their agencies with youthful courage and drive, but also with a good portion of cleverness and adventure, and partied the night away with the icons of pop and rock history. A particular highlight of the book is Pink Floyd's «In The Flesh» tour, which he was on in in 1977.
«Unvarnished, interesting insights into an industry with constant ups and downs and whose flimsy friendships often tear apart in the process.»
– Georg Preusse as. «MARY»
The book not only tells turbulent backstage anecdotes, but also provides an insight into a carefree time and shows traces of the myth of «sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll» in the Principality. In the end, the author spans the arc from the 1990s to the present day, where subsequent generations are playing the little country with fine, innovative sounds.

Antoine Lemaire, born in Bretagne in 1954, was three years old when he came to Liechtenstein with his parents. After completing teacher training at the cantonal school in Sargans, his career took him in a completely different direction. At the age of 18, he founded a concert agency with a friend, bringing major artists to the Rhine Valley in the 1970s.
He then moved full-time into the furniture industry, for which he is still involved today as an independent partner of various chair manufacturers in Eastern Europe. From 1985 to 1996, he also worked as a freelancer for the sports newsroom of Swiss television.
